// about

A registry for teams that work for a share.

>commit_ is for small teams building a game or an app for a cut of future revenue instead of a salary. It records who joined, on what terms, and what they put in, so the split still holds when the first payout lands.

Why

Most rev-share deals live in a Discord call and someone's memory. That works until money shows up. Then someone "remembers it differently", someone who left after a month still holds a full share, or the person holding the store account quietly recalculates.

A full company with an operating agreement is overkill for a three-month project. >commit_ sits in between.

How the registry works

Who publishes, who holds the money

Either way works. Publish on your own store accounts: the money lands with you, and >commit_ shows exactly who is owed what and generates the payout instruction. You can no longer misstate what anyone is owed, and everyone can see it.

Or let >commit_ publish it: we put the game or app out under our name, collect the store revenue and pay each person their share straight from the registry. It works like a publisher on the money flow, except every number is visible to the whole team. Already in the store? Moving it over is an option too.
